Kristine Cecile Alarcon is a second-generation Filipina American with a background in community building, public health advocacy and storytelling. She previously worked in health communications and public health to advocate for and increase awareness of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community health. Kristine will continue to champion Asian American, especially Filipino American, and mental health representations in media, while pursuing a career in advocacy. She strives for a world of continuous learning, hope, and belonging through work and various personal projects, like We Are Sana and Forever Harana podcast.
Kristine received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Music from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Public Health from Drexel University, and a Masters in Communications Management from the University of Southern California.
In her free time, she loves to consume fictional media, learn languages, and listen to music.
